Aissa Hernandez

My name is Aissa. I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and now live in San Antonio, Texas with my husband, our toddler, and a small zoo consisting of two dogs, two cats, a turtle, and several assorted fish. I graduated from Texas State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a Business Administration minor.

Currently, I have the pleasure of serving as the Digital Marketing Manager at the San Antonio Botanical Garden, a true oasis in a city brimming with culture. Previous marketing roles I’ve held include Communications and Marketing Manager at the McNay Art Museum and Resource and Communications Specialist at the Florida Literacy Coalition.

My early professional background has a heavy customer service emphasis, from traditional retail settings to the busiest theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. In other words, I am attentive, flexible, and very patient.

When I’m not working or chasing my toddler around, I’m more than likely exploring the city with my little family, brushing up on the Japanese language, or catching up on the latest anime.
