Radio Drama
Description This was the final project for my Audio Production class at Texas State University. Using Adobe Audition, I created this 10-minute radio drama complete with sound effects, music, and mixing effects to tell the story of a classic haunting. Grab a snack and listen to Believe Me: An Unconventional Ghost Story. (It’s an even better experience with headphones!) You can follow along with this script I wrote for the radio drama assignment, which contains music and sound effect cues written out. Cast Colton Gabelmann as Rufus Shanya Martinez as The Ghost Aissa Martinez as Andrea, Tammy, Caleb, and Rufus Jr.
KTSW 89.9 Airchecks
Listen – Aircheck 1 Listen – Aircheck 2 Description In Fall 2015, I took the Audio Production course at Texas State University. One of the requirements of the class was to volunteer as an on-air host at the university’s radio station, KTSW. This was a really fun and different experience that kept me on my toes at all times. My partner Daniel and I would meet every Thursday for two hours to make sure the system ran smoothly, keep the audio sounding nice, and lend our voices to the airwaves for a few minutes to talk about music, the weather, radio programming, and campus news. These short audio clips contain snippets of my time as an on-air host at KTSW.
My best friend’s first trip to Disney World
Description When I was in high school, I took a class called Media Tech, which taught me how to use Adobe Premiere Pro and sparked my love for video editing. I am perfectly happy cutting and editing footage all day long. I used my skills to document my best friend’s first trip to Disney World, and the result is something we look back on with fondness. Anyone who has visited any of the Disney parks knows that the day just flies by, so I made this video for her so that she could spend her trip soaking in every magical moment instead of taking video and pictures herself at the same time.
