...has been a work in progress since 2008. This was the year I attended my first concert at age 13. Throughout that entire day, I got to see some of my favorite bands at the time. That concert still holds a special place in my heart, because from that day forward, I knew that I wanted to make my career in live entertainment somehow.
With each show that I've been to, there is always one thing that remains the same: My stomach feels like it's in knots when I take my spot on the floor, the house lights dim and the sensation intensifies, and nothing in my life has to matter in those few hours. My body may be sore from headbanging, jumping and dancing, my voice may be gone from screaming and singing, and I may not be able to hear too well from the ringing in my ears. But when it's over, I want nothing more than to do it all over again.
One day, I hope to instill the passion I have for this industry into others. If the shows I put on make one kid feel the way I do about live music, my goal will be fulfilled.
Special shoutout to my parents for buying all my concert tickets and merch AT LEAST up until show #18 down there. Y'all are the true rockstars.
